New York Fashion Week Runway Fashion Shows February 2005

February 3rd 2005 ABAETE assisted Key Hair Stylist Giovanni, Frank Arends Inc Ny with Hair Styling.Curls and the Classic Finger Wave 40’s Style were top of the list for the Abaete New York Fashion Runway Show. Models sported loose curls either pulled back and fixed with pins or tamed naturally by hands and hair worn loose down.

 

February 4th 2005 PIERROT assisted Key Hair Stylist Bok Hee, Streeters Ny with Hair Styling.Backstage at Pierrot hairdryers hummed…. I worked on a hair style given the name Birds Nest. The hair was blown straight back from the models face giving a smooth look. Curls were then added at the ends of the hair and hair was pulled back and secured with pins to giving the shape of a birds nest. Volume to the hair was added by the traditional method of backcombing allowing shapes to be formed.

February 4th 2005 DUCKIE BROWN assisted Key Hair Stylist Bok Hee, Streeters Ny with Hair StylingAll was buzzing at Bryant Park, as the Men’s Runway Show Duckie Brown hit the stage. Hair was groomed into a sleek style with a side parts were seriously formed with combs that swirled. Hair was set with a strong styling gel, pin curl clips and blown dry to set.

February 5th 2005 TOMBER assisted Key Hair Stylist Giovanni, Frank Arends Inc. Ny with Hair StylingBeautifully tailored men’s clothing was the order of the day at Tomber. Hair was kept clean and simple in a classic neat style very fitting for the clothing.

 

February 5th 2005 JASMIN assisted Key Hair Stylist Bok Hee, Streeters Ny with Hair Styling.Polished hair was not on the menu for the female models at Jasmin. The hair was pulled up into a pony tail, loosely by the hands and not brushed. Pony tails were either placed in high, medium or low in position. Around the hair line the hair was brushed against the hair shaft to produce a wispy, untamed look.

February 6th 2005 DOO RI assisted Key Hair Stylist Bok Hee, Steeters Ny, with Hair Styling.Hair was kept in a classic up do, with a slight twist to create a modern look. At Doo ri, the hair was blown dry and curled under at the ends. Hair Dryers were nozzle free so the blow dry was not to sleek. The hair was then pulled up into a French twist, but slightly off to the side and loosely pinned. Wisps were formed around the hair line to create a softer look.

February 6th 2005 TESS assisted Key Hair Stylist Bok Hee, Streeters Ny, with Hair Styling.It was all systems go back stage at Tess. Hair extensions were added to patient models sitting backstage. All hair was pulled back in a pony tail… smooth and sleek. Extensions were then added to form plats or vast length. What a fantastic ending to assisting New York Fashion Week for Hair Styling.

February 8th 2005 YOKO DEVEREAUX assisted Key Make-up Artist John Nelson, Frank Arends Ny, with Make-up.Stepping back into the punk era men sported a 80’s David Bowie Look for Hair and Make-up for Yoko Devereaux Fashion. Make-up was applied to one eye, sporting 3 different colors in various punky styles. Skin was toned down a couple of shades to giving male models the unkissed sun look. Hair was pulled, straightened and twisted in all directions. The Male Model Entourage of Ziggy Stardust’s graced the catwalks.
